The graph shows the possible interdisciplinarity of marriage and the family. Logically, the University of Piura’s and its surrounding’s own reality made us previously define research guidelines which will empower the already existing initial capacities. Thus, an approximation to the different investigation lines from which one can reach the reality of the family, in the current academic centers at the University of Piura, would be as follows:
Humanities: based on the profound reflection of the basic sciences of human nature, marriage and the family.
Law: oriented towards the establishment, analysis and deepening of the laws and norms that adequately regulate and rule family life.
Economic and Entrepreneurial Sciences: focused in understanding the economic and management processes in organizations, which facilitate or difficult family life.
Educational Sciences: centered in understanding the pedagogical processes within the family and complementary institutions, bearing in mind the different developing stages of the person.
Communications: oriented towards the development of public opinion and the enhancement of human values related to the family through social communication means.
Engineering: oriented towards the engineering sciences and technologies which can help solve real material needs that will facilitate family life.
